Fraunhofer Center for Assistive Information and Communication Solutions – AICOSOne of the major and recurrent events related to Ambient Assisted Living in Europe is the annual AAL Forum – which occurred this year in Lecce, Italy, from the 26th to the 28th of September.
Fraunhofer Portugal participated in this year’s parallel session entitled ‘Getting Older in South Europe’, in the ‘Speakers Corner’ - organized around the short presentation of projects through posters, as well as participating elements in the ‘Young Researcher Workshop’.
This international event is considered by Fraunhofer Portugal as an excellent opportunity for to showcase its recent project activities, contributing to the promotion and debate of ideas and solutions for enhancing the quality of life of older people through the use of ICT in their daily environment.
