Fraunhofer Center for Assistive Information and Communication Solutions – AICOSFraunhofer AICOS has officially started a new external project, the ‘Smartphones for Seniors’ (S4S).
The kick-off session has occurred on the 18th of November 2011 in Fraunhofer AICOS offices in Porto, having as audience the representatives of the various partners involved.
The S4S project aims to make it easier for senior users to intuitively learn and quickly master common mobile phone’s features - such as making calls or sending voice/text messages - as well as easily interacting with more specific features purposely-built for them, such as receiving medication reminders or allowing the monitoring of their health status.
