Malnourishment is prevalent amongst older adults. Reasons behind it may be medical conditions, poor information, loneliness or others. Being aware of these issues, 7 European partners from 5 different countries got together to tackle the problem.
The solution is an intelligent system which can suggest healthy meals for the week, automatically program a kitchen robot, easily guide the users step-by-step through the recipes, generate and manage the shopping lists, and help to keep track of health indicators. On top of it, a social network fosters users’ engagement with other people and the sharing of information about healthy eating.
