FhP-AICOS' GoLiveClip technology was awarded the Silver Economy Award, in the Non-for-profit organisation category, in a ceremony that took place yesterday, in Brussels. Run by SEED, a Coordination and Support Action under H2020, this award aims to recognize innovative solutions that demonstrate a significant impact on the quality of life of the ageing population.
The GoLiveClip was developed by FhP-AICOS, in partnership with Gociety Solutions. The GoLiveClip is an easy to use, powerful sensor that combines activity monitoring, an alarm button, a fall risk analyser and a fall detector. It provides direct practical support for an active healthy and safe living. The device also automatically keeps track of movements and activity. This information is displayed in the GoLivePhone app. Also available is the GoLiveAssist, a web portal that allows authorized caregivers to remotely access and gain real-time insights into the health-related metrics.
The Silver Economy Awards aim to catalyse a sustainable European digital Silver Economy movement by promoting and rewarding innovative solutions to improve the quality of life for those over 50 years of age. This award recognizes the GoLiveClip as the most innovative solution capable of supporting and creating a game-changing shift in the silver economy market and improve the quality of life of older adults.
The ’all in one safety clip’, is now sold by Gociety Solutions, having been launched to market in November 2017.
