With a fast-growing market, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Nanotechnology and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) are already moving millions around the globe. The natural digitalization and automation of enterprises, accelerated by the Covid-19 pandemic, illustrates the benefits and opportunities of investing in these areas.
Fraunhofer Portugal AICOS, the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) and INOVA-RIA have launched an innovative entrepreneurship programme – AINANOTEC - designed for researchers and entrepreneurs looking to market their ideas and R&D results in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Nanotechnology and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).
The new programme – with applications open until the 3rd of September - aims to support the creation of 15 disruptive startups with highly qualified work.
The selected ideas will experience an intensive calendar of activities where the participants will further develop the tools for growing their ideas and businesses.
The programme aims to provide a unique ecosystem where participants will meet and match potential partners with different professional and technical backgrounds, engage with a national and international network of mentors, coaches and stakeholders, encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experience, boosting investment for the new startups.
The deadline for the submission of ideas ends on the 3rd of September.
