Optimizing processes, reducing costs, increasing efficiency, and supporting every day, yet cumbersome tasks, are some of the goals when it comes to digital transformation. For FhP-AICOS’ competencies in this field, a new technological solution is on track aiming to automatize traditionally manual processes, resulting in time and cost saving.
As an innovation partner, FhP-AICOS is currently developing a solution designed specifically to ADVID (the Association for the Development of Viticulture in the Douro Region), improving, and upgrading the automatized system previously implemented. The VitLab project includes the digitalization of the former paper process in ADVID Lab where Oenology services are performed, thus contributing to an optimized, more efficient, and improved process.
FhP-AICOS has been working closely with the industry, creating, and implementing cutting-edge solutions aimed at supporting companies within the digitalisation processes.
ADVID's mission is to promote the sustainable development of Douro and national winegrowing, in a context of cooperation and networking, as well as the transfer of knowledge accumulated through research and experiments carried out as part of its activity.
