Description:
Carbohydrate counting is an indispensable task for people with diabetes, due to the need to know the amount of carbohydrate (in grams), in order to know-how much insulin they need to inject. The goal of this project is to estimate an approximate value of carbohydrates in a meal, using photography and applying image recognition technics.
Outcome:
> Knowledge on measuring calorie and nutrition from food image;
> Application that automatically calculates the amount of carbohydrates.
