Fraunhofer Center for Assistive Information and Communication Solutions – AICOSDescription:
The main goal of this project is to develop a proof-of-concept system that is able to rely on a smartwatch to operate a drone and perform inventory management assistive tasks, e.g. scanning a top shelf, on demand.
Outcome:
> Extend AICOS’ Audit portfolio using drones;
> Technology of potential high interest for industry clients;
> New UAV/robot/machine interaction method that can be used in other applications.
